WHEN A GAME…
Feyland is the most immersive computer game ever designed, and fifteen-year-old Jennet Carter is the first to play the prototype. But she doesn’t suspect the virtual world is close enough to touch — or that she’ll be battling for her life against the Dark Queen of the faeries.

TURNS REAL…

Tam Linn is the perfect hero — in-game. Too bad the rest of his life is seriously flawed. The last thing he needs is rich-girl Jennet prying into his secrets, insisting he’s the only one who can help her.

WINNING IS EVERYTHING…
Together, Jennet and Tam enter the Dark Realm of Feyland, only to discover that the entire human world is in danger. Pushed to the limit of their abilities, they must defeat the Dark Queen… before it’s too late.

FEYLAND will release December 16, 2011, in both paperback and ebook formats.

My Review

This book brings a new element to the paranormal.
Jennet Carter is a VirtuMax Kid, being the daughter of a high rank Program-manager; she has always lived the wealthy life. Maids, chauffeur, housekeeper and access to the VirtuMax game novelties as a beta-tester.
That´s how she came face to face with Feyland a full Sim that´s been on development for years and while playing the game on her dad´s Full-D prototype, she discovered that Feyland was more real than anyone believed.
Fighting for what was lost at the game, she ends up living on Crestview where she meets Tam Lim, a young man with a Sim system won at the Tri-state simming tournament; who could be her last chance at life.
Feyland presents a fresh and new take on faerie, I loved this book,  it´s action packed but still retains a romantic quality to it.
Jennet and Tam are the cutest more different couple I’ve had the pleasure to read about, but those differences are what make them stronger, but the question remains; are they strong enough to partake on the realm of Faerie.
When I decided to read this book I knew that it wasn´t what I am accustomed to but I was very curious as to how Anthea Sharp was able to web the Faerie into a video game and bring it to life, all I can say is that I’m not disappointed, the plot is fresh and the way more interesting that I thought it would.
I loved the fact that Tam and Jennet come from totally different worlds and the way both of them learn to accept that and embrace does differences is something we all should do.
I even goggled some when I figured that this book is based on a legendary Scottish Ballad, which BTW is absolutely beautiful.
So guys if you like video games and are head over heels about Urban Fantasy, this is the book to look for, I truly believe that Feyland The Dark Realm, will be a hit once is out there. So run go grab your copy cause this book is put for sale today!!!!!!!!!!
